Recently, King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia visited Xiamen, Fujian Province. During his visit, King Sihamoni met with Wang Jianhua, Vice President of Huaqiao University (HQU), and some Cambodian students at school.

The King expressed his gratitude to HQU for cultivating talents for Cambodia, and hoped to strengthen bilateral cooperation in education, so that Cambodian students would have more opportunities to study and exchange in Fujian and other provinces in China.

On behalf of HQU, Wang Jianhua presented King Sihamoni with a Chinese colored ink wash painting, which was specially created for this event by Wang Eryi, dean of the College of Fine Arts, signifying that the friendship between China and Cambodia has rooted deeply.
