The 2022 ongoing National People’s Congress (NPC) and Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) (Two Sessions) are not only hot topics among the Chinese people, but also attract the attention of an increasing number of international students. Students from the Philippines, Ireland, Mauritius and other countries in Huaqiao University (HQU) recorded the two sessions in their eyes on camera, and shared their most concerned topics to the netizens at home and abroad. The videos have been retweeted by CRI Online of China Media Group (CMG), the official Facebook page and Twitter account of thePeople’s Daily, Fujian Broadcast Television Station (FJTV) and other mainstream media.

Peter from Ireland, where is a large agricultural country, has always been concerned about the ecological issues: “Environmental protection is not just a problem for China, but the one that every country needs to attach importance to. China has been working to promote ecological sustainability over the last few years and has achieved a lot. So mavellous!”

At present, the COVID-19 epidemic is still raging in the world, but the strong prevention and control measures that China has always adhered to have given full confidence to Chen Guoping from Mauritius, who commented, “It has been more than two years since the outbreak of the epidemic, but China has done a very good job in preventing and controlling it.
