The China-ASEAN Tourism Safety and Security Forum (2021) was held both offline and online on Dec. 5 under the theme of “China-ASEAN Tourism Risk Management and Recovery of Tourism Industry under the Impact of COVID-19”. This forum is hosted by Huaqiao University (HQU), organized by HQU College of Tourism and Center for Tourism Safety and Security Research of China Tourism Academy, and co-organized by “One Belt and One Road” Tourism Safety and Security Development Research Center of HQU and Tourism Safety and Security Research Institution of HQU.
Twenty-seven experts and scholars from universities and research institutions of the United States, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, and Chinese mainland and Taiwan had in-depth discussions. Some teachers and students from HQU College of Tourism also attended the forum.
