From September 22^ndto October 9^th, the 2021 Online Seminar for Overseas Chinese School Principals was held. It was hosted by Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and organized by Huaqiao University (HQU). More than 130 Chinese School Principals from 21 countries including the UK, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and Italy, attended the seminar.

The participants took a series of courses during this 18-day seminar, including the development of overseas Chinese education in the new era, cultural identity and the soft power of Chinese culture, the training and career development of overseas Chinese teachers, the management of overseas Chinese schools in the post-pandemic era, south Fujian culture, etc.

Some course content, in particular, resonated with the present principals for its effective guidance in school management and teaching practice, such as incorporating hands-on learning in classroom teaching, and adopting cultural strategies to build high-quality schools. After each session, the principals lingered to interact with the lecturer.

The closing ceremony of the online seminar was held on the afternoon of October 9^th. Vice President Zeng Lu and the directors of Chinese Education Office and Admissions Office of HQU attended the ceremony.
