To further strengthen the ties between our university and middle schools in Macao, Huaqiao University (HQU) delegation led by Liu Bin, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee has recently visited Kao Yip Middle School, Fong Chong School of Taipa and Pui Va Middle School, and held meetings with principals, directors of college counseling, head teachers of senior class and some student representatives.

At the meetings, Liu Bin briefly introduced the general situation of Huaqiao University and the new measures for the cultivation of Macao students, then he welcomed teachers and students from these schools to visit Huaqiao University.; Directors of Admissions Office introduced the enrollment of Macao students and relevant admission policies. All the secondary schools affirmed the contribution made by Huaqiao University to the cultivation of Macao students as well as our long-accumulated experience in the cultivation of overseas students and updated cultivation methods in the new era. Furthermore, they expressed they would organize more teachers and students to visit Huaqiao University, and hoped that more high school graduates could choose Huaqiao University for further study.

During the visit, Liu and the delegation also inspected the Macao exam venue for the Joint Entrance Examination of Jinan University and Huaqiao University for students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, overseas Chinese and other foreign students (Joint Admissions); and paid a visit to the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, some school board members in Macao and Macao Alumni Association of HQU and School of Law Alumni Association of HQU in Macao.
