Under the guidance of Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China to ensure an orderly and sound school re-opening arranged in staggered shifts and in line with the work plan of Huaqiao University (HQU) for students’ return in spring semester, over 26,000 students from non-risk or low-risk areas staggered their return to campus from March 13th to 14th after two-week online education.

Xu Xipeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of HQU, Wu Jianping, President of HQU, Peng Pei, Wang Xiuyong and Wang Lixia, Vice Presidents of HQU, together with the leading members of relevant units, paid visits to the site of registration, canteens, student dormitories, and other places on campus. They launched inspection and instructions on various school re-opening managements including arrangements on students’ return, epidemic prevention and control, and materials preparation for the new semester. They also made inquiries about students’ status during winter vacation and school re-opening, and kindly advise them to adjust themselves to embrace the semester vigorously.

Staff of Students’ Affairs Office, Logistics Department, Security Department, Youth League Committee and Student Health Center as well as the volunteers from Party units welcomed students at the entrance channel of HQU. In light of the principle that leaves no one unchecked, they firmly followed the entrance procedure including luggage disinfection, temperature detection, and examinations on Health Code, Entrance Code, and Campus Card. Students were then led into the campus.
