Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced the list of outstanding experts of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2020. Professor Xie Chaowu, Dean of the College of Tourism of Huaqiao University, was selected.

A total of 150 experts were on the list nationwide, with four experts in literature and art circles from Fujian Province. Xie Chaowu is one of the 8 experts selected from the national colleges and universities by business departments of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. He is also the only one from the colleges and universities in Fujian Province.
