On the noon of January 13^th, the Huaqiao University (HQU) Chinese New Year Meeting of 2020 for the Board of Directors in Macao was held in the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) where Tang Cuiying, first-class Inspector from Bureau 10 of the United Front Work Department (UFWD) of CPC Central Committee, and Xu Xipeng, President of HQU, celebrated Chinese New Year together with board members.

On the afternoon of January 13^th, Xu paid a special visit to Luo Yonggang, deputy director of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR, reported to him on HQU's history and development, and listened to his instruction on school construction and various activities launched in Macao.

During his stay, Xu also visited Board members Ngan In Leng, Chan Meng Kam, and Ma Chi Seng, outstanding alumni, including Ao Ieong U, Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao SAR, and Zhou Xingting, Chairman of Guangdong Nam Yue Group, and prestigious Ma Iao Hang. He attended the Chinese New Year Meeting for HQU’s Alumni in Macao jointly hosted by those alumni and Macao Foundation of Education.

Heads from the Office of Board of Directors, Admissions Office, Anniversary Office, and Liaison Office in Macao attended the events as well.

Tang Cuiying and Xu Xipeng lead the delegation to attend the Chinese New Year Meeting of HQU's alumni in Macao.
