On December 27^th, the 2020 New Year Music and Dance Gala, an annual cultural New Year celebration, kicked off in Huaqiao University (HQU). More than 300 faculty and students gathered at the auditorium of Lee Pik-tsong Music and Dance Building, enjoying the wonderful music and dance performances as a farewell to the old year, and wish for the New Year.

The 2020 New Year Music and Dance Gala was hosted by the Publicity Department of Party Committee and organized by College of Music and Dance. Teachers and students from College of Music and international students studying Chinese in HQU participated in the performance, which brought together a variety of forms including solo, ensembles, chorus, folk dance, original modern style dance, instrumental ensembles, folk music ensemble and recitation.
