National Flag-raising Ceremony on Xiamen campus
At 7:00 am on October 1st, Huaqiao University (HQU) held the national flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China respectively on Liao Chengzhi Square, Quanzhou Campus, A-Area of, Xiamen Campus, and the South Gate Plaza of Chinese Language and Culture College.
At the ceremony, student representatives shaped "70" and waved Chinese flags to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the People's Republic of China.
Guan Yifan, Secretary of the CPC committee of HQU, and Xu Xipeng, President of HQU separately delivered speeches at the national flag-raising ceremony.
At the ceremony, the choral reading To Young Chinese by students from the talent school of the Youth League Committee of HQU shows their respect for the motherland and the lofty dreams of youth; and the choir My People, Motherland by all presenters, in godly sincerity, push patriotism to its climax. Everyone was so enthusiastic taking photos with the national flag and expressed their best wishes to the motherland and the school.
Wu Jihuai, Liu Gong, Liu Bin, Zeng Lu, Peng Pei and Bi Mingqiang, the leaders of HQU, Zhang Yunbo, the president assistant, heads of all departments (sections) of party committees, party and administrative leaders of all colleges, school counselors and student representatives, etc. attended the flag-raising ceremony.
