On the evening of September 30^th, following the opening performance by the Art Troupe of Huaqiao University (HQU), the big fete to celebrate the 70^th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China was unveiled in the bustling Huayuan Avenue of Quanzhou Campus and A-Area Square of Xiamen Campus at the same time.

Leading the Chorus of My People, My Country

To celebrate the 70^th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, faculty and students from home and abroad "crossed" the corridor of time to trace the 70-year leapfrog development of the country, watched patriotic films to better understand the firm political convictions of the forerunners, sang and danced to celebration songs, tasted specialties carefully prepared by international students and played various small games.

Various featured events of all colleges and fun activities prepared by different student associations were also in full swing. Many stalls also prepared five-star red flags for visitors, creating a festive atmosphere to welcome the 70^th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
