On May 8^th, 2019, delegation from University of Nagasaki including President Kimura Tsutomu and Suzuki Akihiko, Director of International Exchange Center, visited Huaqiao University (HQU).

Peng Pei, Vice President of HQU, met with the delegation in Li Keqi memorial building and made a brief introduction on HQU’s development, characteristics and mission. He indicated that the two universities have cooperated closely in education and research exchanges for many years, hoping there would be further collaboration and exchanges to promote internationalization. 

President Kimura Tsutomu expressed the gratitude to HQU's long-term assistance with the teaching and research of University of Nagasaki. He introduced the university briefly and mentioned that the university currently has 5 colleges and is willing to build all-round cooperation and exchanges as well as the long-lasting friendship with HQU.

The two universities also had a discussion on the joint host of East Asia Academic Forum, teaching and research, students and faculty exchanges, discipline cooperation, enrollment, etc., and came to a consensus about the further collaboration.
