On the morning of April 11^th, Xu Xipeng, President of Huaqiao University (HQU) and Edward Wlodarczyk, President of University of Szczecin signed a cooperation agreement on Student and Faculty Exchange Programs at the Administration Building at the Xiamen campus of HQU.

Marek Górski, Vice-President of University of Szczecin and Joanna Misiukajtis, head of the International Office of University of Szczecin, as well as leaders of Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and International School of HQU were present at the ceremony.

Founded in 1984, the University of Szczecin is the largest university in the West Pomerania of Poland and a member of the European University Association (EUA), with 10 colleges and about 15,000 students. In October, 2018, HQU delegation headed by Zeng Lu, Vice-President of HQU, paid a visit to the University of Szczecin for the cooperation programmes.
