The 6th “My China Story” International Short Video Competition sponsored by China International Communications Group (CICG) was concluded in Harbin recently. The original short videos Trendy Bathhouse Culture in Harbin(Instructed by Liu Yanxi) and A Taste of Harbin Beer, A Cool and Fresh Summer created by the new media studio of Huaqiao University (HQU), Voice of Overseas Students, won the Best Story Award and the Outstanding Award respectively. Voice of Overseas Students also won the only Outstanding Organization Award.
This year, the competition has received over 59,000 submissions from more than 130 countries and regions around the globe. Through three rounds of evaluation by 30 Chinese and international professional judges from the fields of media, film and television, internet, and international communication, 112 entries stood out and won the awards. Since its first participation in the competition in 2021, HQU’s Voice of Overseas Students has received three outstanding awards, emerging as a key creator among international students in universities.
