Recently, the awarding ceremony and works broadcasting show of the 16th National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students (NAADCCS) was held in Beijing. One of Huaqiao University teams won the first prize in the Marketing Maker category (e-commerce short videos track), marking HQU’s best performance in this competition by far. Instructed by Li Yuyan, a faculty member from the School of Journalism and Communication, the team consisted of You Binmei, Zheng Bin, Zhang Yifen and Zhang Qian from the School of Journalism and Communication, along with Rao Weiwei from Business School. Additionally, other teams from the School of Journalism and Communication won two third prizes and four excellence awards.
The NAADCCS is supervised by the Advertising Education Committee of the China Association of Higher Education, sponsored by the China Association of Higher Education, organized by the NAADCCS organizing committee, and hosted by Communication University of China along with NAADCCS Culture (Beijing) Co., LTD. It ranks among the top ten national liberal arts competitions for college students approved by the Ministry of Education. More than 770,000 entries from 1,873 universities across 29 regions were submitted and reviewed this year. A total of 257 works won the national first prizes through the initial assessments conducted by participating schools, followed by the regional competitions and the national final.
