The 23rd China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) was held from September 8 to 11 in Xiamen, Fujian Province. Huaqiao University (HQU) was invited to participate in the Global Cooperation Area as a national language service export base.

Through the demonstration of the international AI-powered Chinese teaching system, the most updated HSK teaching material, language service product manuals and multilingual volunteer language service, HQU showcased its latest products and achievements in featured language service export to global guests, covering various fields such as international crash Chinese education, smart education technology, language education resources, multilingual educationand translation services. Among them, the products such as an overseas companion language service for Chinese enterprises, a crash Chinese education service for international industrial talents, self-developed Tong Xin Chinese: Smart Language-learning Public Service Platform, Tong Xin Chinese: Crash Textbook Series and Industrial Chinese Textbooks have attracted the attention of many representatives of Chinese and foreign enterprises, overseas Chinese businessmen, and language service peers who actively negotiated the intention for cooperation.

With the theme “Openness, Integration, Leading Quality Development”, the CIFIT this year covers an area of 120,000-square-meter exhibition space including Invest China Area, Global Cooperation Area, Development Zones Area, and Investment Hotspot Cities Area. The event focuses on hot topics such as intelligent manufacturing, digital economy, sustainability, and rural revitalization, demonstrating new “blue oceans” in industries and new tracks in investment. A total of 102 countries and regions participated in the fair, and 14 international organizations took part in related activities, including the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), among others.
