On December 19,the 2022 Online Chinese Culture Paradise (SouthAmericanPark)held its opening ceremony. 225 ethnic Chinese teenagers from seven countries, including Brazil, Argentina, the Republic of Suriname, Chile, Bolivia and the Republic of Paraguay, participated in this event. The 2022 Online Chinese Culture Paradise (SouthAmerican Park) is sponsored by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, hosted by Huaqiao University (HQU) and co-organized by the Overseas Chinese ServiceCenterin Sao Paul, Brazil, FoundationdeCultura y Education China en Argentina, Sociedad Central de Beneficencia China, Escuela de Idioma Chino de la Colonia Chung Wha, Siyuan Chinese School in Bolivia, Suriname Chinese School, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Paraguay (CCPIT y Py) and other overseas units.

The 2022 Online Chinese Culture Paradise is an upgrade of last year’s SouthAmerican Park. In addition to traditional coursessuchas Chinese Painting, Calligraphy, Folk Dance and Chinese Handicraft, otherlive-action classes such as Learning to Cook Chinese Food, My IllustratedPrimary School Handbook, Kah Kee Culture are added. The 12-day event will be conducted via live streaming and WeChat group tutoring.

HQU has held three sessions of the Chinese Culture Paradise (SouthAmerican Park, British-Portuguese Park and Asian Park) since 2021, with a total of 1,138 students from 11 countries participating in the online training.
