HQU released Blue Book of 21st Century Maritime Silk Road: Research Report on 21st Century Maritime Silk Road (2020~2021)

Blue Book of 21st Century Maritime Silk Road: Research Report on 21st Century Maritime Silk Road (2020~2021),edited by HQU Maritime Silk Road Institute and published by Social Sciences Academic Press (China), was launched in Xiamen on October 27.


Xu Xipeng, Secretary of the HQU CPC Central Committee, Liu Jianxing, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Center of National Development and Reform Commission, Wu Wei, Secretary-general of Tanoto Foundation, See Chee Kong, Minister of the Malaysian Embassy in China, and Dino Rachmadiana Kusnadi, Minister of the Indonesian Embassy in China, attended the conference.Lin Hongyu, Vice President of Huaqiao University, presided over the conference.


Blue Book of 21st Century Maritime Silk Road: Research Report on 21st Century Maritime Silk Road (2020~2021),focuses on the new advances made by 21st Century Maritime Silk Road in building “Blue partnership” and promoting the high-quality development of the “Belt and Road Initiative” since its advancing to intensive and meticulous implementation. It pays closeattention to opportunities and difficulties in the cooperation between countries along “Belt and Road” and China, as well as development strategies and plans at the national, regional and industry levels, and the implementation of major projects.


TheBlue Book of 21st Century Maritime Silk Road: Research Report on 21st Century Maritime Silk Road (2020~2021)is divided into “General Report”, “Progress and Issues in Maritime Silk Road”, “Cooperation on Environment, Energy and Security” and “Economy and Trade, Education and Law”.With a focus on the 21st century Maritime Silk Road, the “General Report” analyses the opportunities and challenges of building a “Blue Partnership” between China and other countries alongside. It also discusses how to build the “Blue Partnership” to promote theBelt andRoadInitiativeand explore the model of cooperation to further thepartnership.
