On Jan 1, 2022, the RCEP formally came into effect, marking the official landing of the free trade zone with the largest population, the largest economic and trade scale, and the highest potential for development in the world. A Q & A session wrapped the training program up with a lively exchange between the experts and the audience.

HQU president Xu Xipeng said that the RCEP will help promote China’s dual-circulation economic development strategy, boost regional economic and trade cooperation, and will unleash more opportunities to expand higher-level opening-up in Fujian Province. HQU will continue to play its role as the strategic scientific and technological force and contribute to Quanzhou’s economic and social development.
