The Academic Degree Committee of the State Council (ADCSC) has issued the 2020 list of new graduate degree programs. The approved degree programs for Huaqiao University (HQU) are first-level discipline doctoral program in Business Administration, first-level discipline master's prog ram in Biology and professional master's program in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences.

With the latest approval of the new programs, HQU now offers 9 doctoral programs of first-level disciplines, 26 master’s programs of first-level disciplines and 22 professional master's programs. All the original programs of second-level disciplines are upgraded to programs of first-level disciplines, marking new heights in the HQU disciplinary strategic implementation.
