On October 8th, Huaqiao University (HQU) resumed in-person teaching in accordance with the latest requirements for epidemic prevention and control. HQU President Wu Jianping, Vice Presidents Peng Pei and Wang Lixia as well as the heads of relevant units inspected the classroom teaching on the two campuses in Quanzhou and Xiamen.
The inspection team visited the teaching areas and examined the preparation work for offline teaching as well as the epidemic prevention and control on the site. At the Multimedia Network Integration Control Centre of both campuses, the team watched the camera to observe classroom teaching, and checked on the use, operation and maintenance of multimedia teaching equipment in detail.
HQU organized various teaching departments in advance to work out a balanced online and offline teaching plan based on the requirements of epidemic prevention and control. Arrangements were also made to ensure the teaching quality as well as the health and safety of teachers and students, such as “starting and dismissing class in staggered time slots” and “adopting online and offline hybrid teaching modes”.
HQU resumes in-person classes on Oct. 8th.
