On the afternoon of September 14^th, Quanzhou campus of Huaqiao University (HQU) launched a campuswide nucleic acid testing in accordance with epidemic prevention and control requirements of Quanzhou Municipal People’s Government and HQU. The testing covered all the HQU students, faculty, staff and residents, and those from the Middle School Affiliated to HQU, the police station and campus shops.

At the athletic arena north of campus where the testing was performed, people practiced social distancing while queuing up for testing. After presenting the testing code or ID card, they must complete temperature checks, information registration, and throat swab sample collection before leaving the stadium orderly.

To address the ongoing challenges faced in the control of COVID-19 epidemic, the COVID-19 prevention office of HQU has issued several public notices and adopted a series of strict and elaborate prevention and control measures, including launching online, staggered teaching programs in the autumn semester, as well as adjusting holiday plans for the Mid-Autumn Festival, National Day and winter vacation.

Xiamen campus will conduct all-inclusive nucleic acid testing on September 16^th.
