Recently, Journal of the American Chemical Society published a paper entitled Enantioselective cobalt-catalyzed cascade hydrosilylation and hydroboration of alkynes to access enantioenriched 1,1-silylboryl alkanes（DOI: 10.1021/jacs.1c04248） by Professor Song Qiuling’s group from Institute of New Generation Material Transformation, College of Materials Science and Engineering, Huaqiao University (HQU).

Established in 1879 by the American Chemical Society, Journal of the American Chemical Society（JACS）is one of the prime journals in all fields of chemistry and materials in the world, with its current impact factor of 15.419.

Professor Song Qiuling is the corresponding author of the paper, with PhD student Jin Shengnan as the first author and great contributions made by postgraduates Liu Kang and Wang Shuai. This research is funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
