Recently, the awards results of the 6^th Fujian College Students Arts Festival, sponsored by the Education Department of Fujian Province, were announced. Huaqiao University won a total of 16 works (projects) in various competitions, including 3 first prizes, 7 second prizes, 6 third prizes, and the Outstanding Organization Award. The total number of awards ranked second among provincially-administered undergraduate universities.

Fujian College Students Arts Festival is held every three years and has been held for six times so far. Our entries for the Festival have distinct characteristics of the times and our campus. We have carried forward the fine Chinese traditional culture, and especially created a number of outstanding campus literary and artistic works in combination with the fight against the COVID-19, showing the youth of our students aim high, strive unceasingly and make bold innovations. While focusing on the fundamental task of fostering virtues through education, our school will continue to strengthen aesthetic education, cultural education and arts education, enabling students to develop their full potential in the moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic domains.
