On February 7^th, "Top Ten Global Overseas Chinese News 2020" selected by China News Service was announced in Beijing, and the news on the 60th anniversary of Huaqiao University (HQU) was among them.

On November 1^st, 2020, HQU celebrated the 60^th anniversary of its founding. It has witnessed important events in the overseas Chinese communities and fully demonstrated their profile.
