Recently, the closing ceremony of the 11^th “Challenge Cup” Business Plan Competition for College Students of Fujian Province was held in Yango University. Huaqiao University (HQU) won 3 gold medals, 6 silver awards as well as 4 bronze ones, and the number of shortlisted projects and competition results hit a new high in recent years. HQU also received the outstanding organization award.

Among all the awards, the entry LASET -The Leader of Automated Segmented Electroplating Technology from College of Mechanical Engineering and Automation (participants: Lin Qishen, etc., instructed by Jiang Feng and Huang Hui), the entry Shiyan -A Gold Service Platform for the Core Industry Chain of Nucleic Acid Aptamers from School of Biomedical Sciences (participants: Guo Fangke, etc., instructed by Lin Junsheng), and the entry Chuanchang - Actors Dedicated to the Revitalization and Inheritance of Traditional Folk Art Culture from School of Journalism & Communication (participants: Zhang Qianying, etc., instructed by Ma Li and Wei Zhiqin) won the gold medal.

A total of 1,873 pieces of works from 70 colleges and universities across Fujian province participated in the competition.
