Live Scene of the Presidential Meet & Greet

On the evening of December 29, the 14th Presidential Meet & Greet of Huaqiao University (HQU) was held at Wang Yuanxing International Convention Center. To have a better communication and an interactive discussion on future planning, Wu Jianping, President of HQU, Peng Pei, Wang Xiuyong and Wang Lixia, Vice Presidents of HQU, Zhang Yunbo, President Assistant, other heads of HQU relevant functional departments, and student representatives from school-level associations, campus media, and all HQU colleges and schools attended the Meet & Greet. Through online video communication for the first time, this conference also connected student representatives from over 20 countries and regions who are still home due to the pandemic, which helped them to join the discussion, and voice their own confusion and demands.

This Meet & Greet is jointly sponsored by HQU Student Union, Graduate School of HQU, and Yiban Student Workstation of HQU. Before the meeting, the sponsors had collected suggestions from Quanzhou and Xiamen Campuses through both online and offline communication, which were mainly focused on five aspects, i.e., teaching and learning, campus policy, matters relating to daily life, infrastructure, and facilities and equipment. Relevant HQU departments have analyzed and replied to these suggestions in advance.
