Recently, a significant research progress has been made by Prof. Zhou Shufeng and Associate Prof. Jiang Wei's group from the College of Chemical Engineering, Huaqiao University (HQU). The paper entitled "3D-printed xylanase within biocompatible polymers as excellent catalyst for lignocellulose degradation" was published in Chemical Engineering Journal.

Under the guidance of Prof. Zhou Shufeng and Associate Prof. Jiang Wei, the research was jointly accomplished by the postgraduate Pei Rui and Associate Prof. Jiang Wei. It is sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Science and Technology Project of Quanzhou, the Science and Technology Innovation Funding Program for Young and Middle-aged Teachers of HQU.
