THE is a world-renowned data provider of higher education. THE Asia University Rankings use the same 13 performance indicators as its World University Rankings, but they are recalibrated to reflect the characteristics of Asian universities. The rankings provide comprehensive and balanced comparisons across all core missions - teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook. The indicators include five aspects: teaching (the learning environment), research (volume, income and reputation), international outlook (staff, students and research), citations (research influence), and industry income (knowledge transfer).
