"Welcome back to Huaqiao University (HQU) in the beautiful early summer!" On May 27^th, the second batch of students returned to both Quanzhou and Xiamen campuses of HQU. Having experienced a long period of "winter vacation", these students got back to their familiar school with much delight. They walked through the special campus access, going through the process of temperature monitoring, code scanning, and identity checking.

On that day, more than 500 students returned from all over the country. They were mainly the second-year master students with pressing research tasks on hand, and some were doctoral students and undergraduates.

Elaborate arrangements have been made in all steps by HQU, before, during and after students’ school returning, in order to ensure the steady and well-organized work. Staff from different units of HQU carefully fulfilled their responsibilities in assisting returning students to complete a series of return-to-school processes, such as information registration, temperature checking, disinfection guidance, and anti-epidemic kit delivery.

On the morning, Guan Yifan, Party Secretary of HQU, and Vice Presidents Peng Pei, Wang Xiuyong, and Wang Lixia inspected the campus access and other places to check the work of students' returning.

It is especially worth mentioning that in order to help run school returning smoothly, HQU has also welcomed and organized a group of volunteers among members of the Communist Party of China (CPC) from different units, to support the prevention and control of the campus access and the canteen dining guidance.

According to HQU’s work plan for returning to school, the third batch of students will return on June 14^th-15^th.
