Recently, Advanced Energy Materials has published a paper titled "Building LithiophilicIon-Conduction Highways on Garnet-Type Solid-State Li+ Conductors" by Dr. Chen Hongwei's Group from College of Materials Science & Engineering, Huaqiao University (HQU). Advanced Materialsis a top-level journal subordinate to John Wiley & Sons Inc., with an impact factor of 24.884 in 2019, exerting great influence in the field of energy science.
(a) Comparison of wetting behaviors of molten Li on LLZTO ceramics with/without sCOF layer.
(b) Cross-section SEM image of the sCOF-coated LLZTO pellet with Li metal.
(c) Comparison of EIS profiles of the symmetric solid-state Li cells with/without sCOF layer.
(a) Comparison of galvanostatic cycling of Li/a*sCOF @ LLZTO/Li and Li/c*sCOF @ LLZTO/Li cells at different current densities.
(b) Cycling performance of the solid-state LFP battery at different rates
(c) Cycling performance of the solid-state LFP battery.
The research was mainly accomplished by Cheng Zhangyuan, Xie Maoling and Zhao Zheng, graduates of Grade 2018 from College of Materials Science & Engineering. Ou Jianxin, undergraduate of Grade 2016 from Department of Applied Chemistry, also contributed a lot in the early stage of the study. This study is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Distinguished Young Scholar Project of Natural Science Foundation of Fujian Province and NANO-X of Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics, CAS.
