The anti-epidemic materials supported by Huaqiao University (HQU) have recently been sent to co-established Overseas Confucius Institutes (Classroom) and other cooperative foreign schools, respectively Kasetsart University (Thailand), Ateneo de Davao University (the Philippines), Fuxing Language and Computer School in Myanmar, and Phuket Wittayalai School (Thailand), aiming to express HQU’s care and concern to the teachers and students of these cooperative foreign schools and Confucius Institutes, and help them fight the COVID-19 and get through the tough time.

HQU and Ateneo de Davao University Sending Each Other a Letter of Condolence

To ensure the teaching work during the epidemic period, the Confucius Institute of Kasetsart University timely adjusted the teaching mode, well-prepared lessons and promoted online Chinese courses, winning students' popularity. On April 12^th, the "Chinese Language and Culture Training Workshop"(Social Class) of Confucius Institute of Kasetsart University was concluded. More than 100 students completed the required class hours, online examinations and fulfilled the program smoothly.

With the spread of COVID-19 in Myanmar, Fuxing Confucius Classroom bought 1,500 surgical masks with money raised from the Spring Festival cultural exhibition, and donated them to New Yangon General Hospital, helping the local epidemic prevention and control.

Previously, when the epidemic was serious, students and teachers from HQU's co-established Overseas Confucius Institutes (Classroom) and foreign partners expressed their solicitude and support to the fight against the epidemic in Wuhan and China in the forms of letters, photos, and videos.
