On the afternoon of March 13^th, the Foreign Affairs Service Team of Huaqiao University (HQU) COVID-19 Prevention and Control Leading Group held its 1^st (expanded) meeting on Quanzhou campus and Xiamen campus in the form of video conference, aiming at the prevention and control of imported cases of COVID-19. The meeting was attended by President Xu Xipeng, Vice President Zeng Lu, Peng Pei, Wang Xiuyong and leaders from President’s Office, Office of International Exchange and Cooperation/Office of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese Affairs, Graduate School, Personnel Department, Department of Students Affairs, Logistics and Assets Management Office, Security Department, Publicity Department, International School, Chinese Language and Culture College and the University Hospital.

After conveying relevant requirements and measures of the government of China, the government of Fujian Province as well as that of Quanzhou Municipality and analyzing the present state of the prevention and control of COVID-19 both home and abroad, this meeting not only discussed the problems encountered during the epidemic prevention and control, but also worked out detailed plans on the prevention and control of imported cases of COVID-19.
