On January 2^nd, Huaqiao University (HQU) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC) with Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in Beijing. Dr. Wang Yifang, Director of IHEP and member of the CAS, and Xu Xipeng, President of HQU, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

HQU will make full use of its superior disciplines based on the IHEP's demand on CEPC Project. Both parties, centering on the Internet of Things, big data and artificial intelligence, will conduct all-round exchanges and cooperation regarding joint project application, personnel communication, seminar co-organization, etc.
