On December 27 ^th , Huaqiao University (HQU) held the 4^th Session of the 7^th Faculty and Staff Congress and Union Meeting at Tan Kah Kee Memorial Hall. 189 representatives attended the meeting, including HQU leaders Guan Yifan, Xu Xipeng, Liu Gong, Liu Bin, Zeng Lu, Peng Pei, Bi Mingqiang, Wang Xiuyong, Assistant to the President Zhang Yunbo, and other official representatives, specially-invited representatives and non-voting representatives.

The meeting reviewed and discussed the Annual Report on the Work of HQU, HQU Annual Fiscal Report, HQU Union's Annual Report, Proposal Report of the 3^rd Session of the 7^th Faculty Congress, Annual Audit Report of HQU Union, Complaints and Appeals Handling Policy and Procedures (Draft for Comments), and finally passed the Resolution of the 4th Session of the 7^th Faculty and Staff Congress and Union Meeting (Draft).

29 proposals and suggestions have been collected till now, and more are still being solicited.
