The finals of the 12th National 3D Innovation Design Competition (3DDS) was wrapped up in the city of Yuxi, Yunnan province, on December 8th, 2019. "Whirlwind tool" team from Huaqiao University (HQU) won the first prize in the National Finals with its work "Optimal Design of Blades based on Micro-scale Numerical Simulation Technology".
A total of about 2,000 contestants of 700 teams participated in the competition and contended for the finals. They are from competition divisions in 31 provinces and autonomous regions, Taiwan, Hong Kong,Macao, as well as overseas competition areas and co-built countries and regions along the Belt and Road.
