The 2^nd International Conference on Chemical, Environmental & Biological Engineering & Translational Medicine (ICCEBETM) hosted by Huaqiao University (HQU), was held at Xiamen campus on December 7^th.

The two-day conference covered topics including Green Chemicals and Clean Energy---Environmental Pollution Control, Environmental Chemistry and Environmental Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Translational Medicine and Precision Medicine. It attracted nearly 300 representatives from well-known universities, research institutions and the Research & Development (R&D) centers of companies in related fields at home and abroad. More than 200 papers and abstracts were received at the conference.

The specific academic forum for postgraduates will be held on the morning of December 8^th, during which 28 students from over 10 universities and research institutions at home and abroad will share their academic achievements, and receive scholars and specialists’ guidance.

The conference was organized by the College of Chemical Engineering of HQU, Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of Biochemical Engineering (HQU), the Key Laboratory of Chemical Biology and Molecular Engineering of Fujian Higher Education Institutions (HQU), and the Fujian Provincial Research Center of Industrial Wastewater Biochemical Treatment (HQU).
