On November 22nd, the Discourse Communication Forum of "Intertextuality, Field and Narration Telling China’s Stories Well" was held on Xiamen Campus of Huaqiao University (HQU). More than 30 experts, scholars and professionals from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), State University of New York (SUNY), Tsinghua University (THU), Xiamen University (XMU), Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), HQU and other universities and research institutions, gathered to discuss how to tell Chinese stories well in the new era.
This forum aims to improve the ways of better telling China’s stories and Chinese practices, and build an international discourse system with Chinese characteristics that integrates China with foreign countries. It is hosted by the editorial department of Chinese Social Sciences Today, School of Journalism and Communication of HQU, Southeast Network of Fujian Daily, School of International Journalism and Communication of BFSU, Department of Social Sciences Research of HQU, and Publicity Department of the CPC of HQU, and co-hosted by the Innovation Research Center of Cross-Strait Communication and Research Center of Overseas Chinese Media of HQU.
