The 4th Maritime Silk Road International Arts Festival Holds Special Performance at HQU

On the evening of November 24th, a special performance of the 4th Maritime Silk Road International Arts Festival was held at the Tan Kah Kee Memorial Hall, Huaqiao University (HQU). The artists from Indonesia and South Korea brought wonderful performances to HQU’s staffs and students.


The 4th Maritime Silk Road International Arts Festival was kicked off in Quanzhou, Fujian on November 22rd. It has three demonstrations as "Art Performance, Art Development Forum and Internet Art Festival". The performance at HQU is one part of "The Belt and Road Initiative" Art Performance Week, aiming at helping local people know more about the charm of exotic culture, so as to promote the cooperation and exchanges of multilateral culture. The scale of this Art Performance Week is larger than ever. Besides Quanzhou local art group, 10 other art troupes from Hong Kong and countries along the routes of "The Belt and Road Initiative", including South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Montenegro, Italy and Poland, were invited to the event.
