The 4th International Symposium on Frontiers of Organic Synthesis, co-hosted by School of Medicine, Engineering Research Center of Molecular Medicine, Ministry of Education and Fujian Key Laboratory of Molecular Medicine was recently held at Xiamen campus of Huaqiao University (HQU). It was attended by directors, the faculty and students from the institutes above as well as a dozen experts and scholars from Germany, France, Portugal, the Chinese mainland and Taiwan.

This symposium, which has been held for four consecutive years at HQU, is becoming influential in the related field. Its convening has helped the faculty and students to establish closer ties with experts and connect more with the research front so as to improve the internationalization of study and research.
