On the morning of October 26^th, the opening ceremony of the 4^th Overseas Chinese Culture and Language Teaching Seminar co-hosted by Huaqiao University (HQU) and Jinan University (JNU) was held at Wang Yuanxing International Conference Center of Xiamen Campus, HQU. The two-day seminar brought together around 80 experts in this field from home and abroad and focused on the topic of "The Integration and Development of Chinese Culture and Language Teaching in This New Era".

Present at the opening ceremony were Zeng Lu, vice-president of HQU, Chew Cheng Hai, professor of the National University of Singapore, Jia Yimin, former president of HQU and Li Wuwei, president of Linguistic Society Fujian.

Enjoying a great reputation internationally in Chinese culture and language education, the seminar co-hosted by HQU and JNU, aims at facilitating communication between domestic and overseas scholars in the field of Chinese culture and language education and promoting academic development.
