On September 10, more than 600 Huaqiao University (HQU) students from Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, etc., participated in the Mid-Autumn Festival folk experience activities entitled "Our Festival" at Xiyuan Canteen. In this event they understood the traditional festival culture, made moon cakes and experienced the traditional folk customs together.

In order to spread the traditional Chinese culture, HQU organizes versatile activities every year for the Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Winter Solstice, and other traditional festivals, creating a "home" atmosphere for students from all over the world and embracing them with the warmth of "home".
