On May 19^th, "Impression Macao: Cultural Event" was held to celebrate the 20^th anniversary of Macao's return to China in Huaqiao University (HQU). About 50 groups of domestic and international students from all colleges of Quanzhou campus participated in this event.

"Impression Macao: Cultural Event", hosted by Department of Student Affairs and organized by School of Economics and Finance, aims to guide the students to have a correct understanding of Macao's achievement since its return to China in 1999. It also enhances the students' acquaintance and recognition of the "One Country, Two Systems" policy, further promotes the education of national conditions for students from Hongkong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas, and cultivates HQU students’ patriotism.

HQU's celebrations of the 20^th anniversary of Macao's return to China include knowledge contest, theme-based writing contest, Cantonese singing contest, internship program of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), outstanding students' exchange and visit to Macao, etc., among which is "Impression Macao".
