The Joint Entrance Examination of Jinan University and Huaqiao University for students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, overseas Chinese and foreign students (hereinafter Joint Admissions) was held on May 12th - 13th, 2018 in Guangzhou, Xiamen, Hong Kong and Macao, with the main examination venue at Jinan University and the Xiamen exam venue at Chinese Language and Culture College of Huaqiao University.

        3,537 candidates from over 20 countries including North Korea, Japan, Brazil, and the regions of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, participated in the Joint Admissions, 340 of whom took the examination in Xiamen.

        The 3+X form has been adopted continually this year. The candidates are required to take three compulsory subject tests, namely Chinese, English and Math, and at least one selective subject test from History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry and Biology according to the majors they choose. The admissions result will be announced in early June.
