Wu Jianping, born in May 1969, is a researcher with an in-service master’s degree and a doctorate. As a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC), he currently serves as the President of Huaqiao University and the Deputy Secretary of the CPC Huaqiao University Committee.

Wu Jianping holds full responsibility for overseeing the university’s executive affairs. In this role, he serves as the head of the Personnel Department and the Auditing Department. He is also in charge of the School of Economics and Finance, the College of Statistics/ the Institute of Quantitative Economics, and the Research Institute of Global Chinese and Area Studies (RIGCAS) of Huaqiao University.
