On the afternoon of Apr 17, Huaqiao University (HQU) formalized a strategic partnership with France’s premier film school, École Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle (ESRA) by signing a cooperation memorandum at HQU. Wang Xiuyong, HQU Vice President, and Max Azoulay, founder, chairman and president of ESRA, affixed their signatures on behalf of the two institutions. The signing marks concrete progress in the two universities’ joint efforts to build a joint international platform for film and television education, laying a solid foundation for deepening cooperation in film education and cultivating globally-minded film professionals.
The signing was witnessed by Chen Yun, academician of the European Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters (AESAL) and director of Paris Future Laboratory, officials from HQU’s Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and School of Journalism and Communication, and Wu Zhaochong, chairman of Beijing Zhaoxiang Education Consulting Co., Ltd.
