On August 12, 2019, Chinese Overseas Culture Camp - Indonesian Cultural Camp 2019, hosted by Chinese Language and Culture Education Foundation of China (CLEF) and organized by Huaqiao University (HQU), commenced in Jembatan Budaya School (JB School), Indonesia. Nearly 300 people attended the opening ceremony, including Consul General Gou Haodong and Consuls Sun Lihua and Li Changda of Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Denpasar, Zhang Han, Director of Project Department I, CLEF, Jiang Rui, Chairman of JB School, HQU teacher delegates and representatives of the campers.

The Camp, co-organized by JB School and sponsored by Chinese King Wai Co., Ltd., will last for 12 days. Eight teachers from College of Music and Dance, College of Physical Education and School of Arts will give lessons on Chinese arts such as music, dragon dance, martial arts, percussion music, Chinese painting and dance.
