On June 6th, 2019, Summer Delicacy --- food tasting activity of the Dragon Boat Festival for international students was held at the Dining Hall No. 1 of Quanzhou campus, Huaqiao University (HQU). The activity was hosted by the Catering Service Center and Department of Student Affairs, and organized by the College of Humanities, Dining Hall No. 1 and Youth Volunteers Association.
With mugwort leaves and different fillings for Zongzi, including glutinous rice, red beans, roast pork, mushrooms and dates on the table, the international students learnt to make Zongzi and listened to legends and anecdotes of the Dragon Boat Festival amidst flavor of the food.
