On January 17^th, Elsevier, the academic publishing giant, formally released its list of 2018 Chinese Most Cited Researchers. Professor Wu Jihuai, doctoral supervisor and Vice President of Huaqiao University (HQU), has been included in the field of Material Science. This is the fifth-consecutive year that Prof. Wu earns this honor.

According to statistics, a total of 1,899 scholars from 229 domestic universities, research institutes and enterprises have made the list this year, among whom 174 scholars are in the field of Material Science and 3 are from universities in Fujian, namely HQU, Xiamen University and Fuzhou University.
