Recently, Dr. Li Zhongwei, professor of School of Philosophy and Social Development, Huaqiao University, has published an article entitled "Research on the Question of Self in the Integration of Phenomenology and Analytic Philosophy" as the sole author in Issue 276, No. 12 (December 2018), Social Sciences in China. This is the first sole-author article published by an HQU's academic in Social Sciences in China, which adds to HQU’s achievements in humanities and social sciences.

Social Sciences in China is a comprehensive journal of social sciences, sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. It was first published in January 1980 as a bimonthly and changed to a monthly in 2012. It mainly publishes the latest and most important academic research results in the field of philosophy and social sciences in China, and is acknowledged as the No.1 prestigious comprehensive Chinese journal in humanities and social sciences.
